EXCITEMENT BUILDS AS "NEW" BENNETT PROGRAMS EXPAND

Most of us remember when Bennett High School was open and running to capacity from early in the morning until late at night. It was the site for a wide range of activities revolving around academics, clubs, sports and community activities. Your Alumni Association is committed to working toward having our school be the hub of a neighborhood that is experiencing a Renaissance. To that end we are pleased to report the following:

Delaware North's IT department, which oversees the company's global cyber security program and IT infrastructure. is advising on the program's development to ensure relevance in today's business environment. The curriculum is designed to prepare our students for admission to colleges with highly regarded cyber security degree programs. Making possible careers in cyber security with the federal government, state governments and private-sector companies.

Parent Center Has Grand Opening

On Monday, October 25, 2016, the Parent Center at Bennett was formally dedicated. The center was developed by the District to provide parents with both assistance and learning opportunities. The aim is to increase parent engagement in District events and activities. A wide range of community courses will be offered. Coming soon will be the addition of health and legal clinics.
